The end begins now…
Well not really.
We are approaching the end of 2015, however. And as we continue wondering what experiences 2016 will bring, I would encourage you to take a few moments to consider the impact that The Sapphire Theatre Co. has made in just a few short months. The Sapphire has served tens of thousands of people and Midwestern communities (and beyond) – and that’s a conservative estimate. The actual numbers are much higher. How so? The answer is found in three words: Enrichment. Education. Entertainment.
This trifecta of “E-words” embodies the Sapphire’s three major facets. They combine and come to life in a myriad of ways like The Luxurious Underpass , anti-bullying programs and ADULT SWIM Indy.
The Sapphire sees the arts experience in everything and seeks to share that experience with everyone. A once ordinary traffic intersection is now a work of art experienced by thousands of people per day. Some of our most vulnerable and impressionable community members, elementary school children, are educated and empowered through theatrical productions addressing bullying – the third leading cause of death among young people. The Sapphire is demonstrating that art saves lives.
